" NBA star Shaquille O’Neal is no stranger to tapping Eastern culture and designs thanks to his love for martial arts, previously creating a “Shaq Fu” merch line as well as a side-scrolling fighting game of the same name back in 1994. Now, ahead of the release for the basketball player’s upcoming documentary Shaq Life, he has once again teamed up with Reebok for another colorway of his signature sneaker, the Shaq Attaq, this time paying tribute to martial arts legend Bruce Lee.
Informed by Lee’s most iconic outfit, Reebok and O’Neal have crafted its latest colorway with the yellow jumpsuit from Game of Death, dressing the basketball sneaker almost completely in a vibrant yellow shade from toe to heel. The contrasting black stripe runs down the center from the tongue to the toebox, covering the pump as well as the laces, and extending into the lining itself. Branding comes in the form of a discreet “Reebok” labels on the lateral side and “SHAQ” embroidered on the heel, both in the same loud yellow tone, except for the black silhouette of Shaq dunking. Completing the look are two carbon fiber supports by the instep, offering a more futuristic look to the sneaker. "
